PINKERTON
The Unioto libero needed
just four sets to break her
own school-record for digs.
Last year, her rookie
season, Pinkerton had 43
digs in a five-set match.
Last week, Pinkerton
recorded 46 digs in a
four-set win against
Adena. She was also 23/24
in serve receive.

Foglesong was involved in
a little bit of everything
Friday night. On offense,
he had four receptions for
68 yards and two scores.
On the other side of the
ball, he recorded a sack,
an interception, and
forced a fumble. The
all-around effort led
Adena to a 27-7 victory
over Huntington.
John Winfield,
Southeastern (Football):
Winfield nearly became the
fourth SE football player to win
this award during the magical,
undefeated season. Winfield
caught two big TDs in Friday’s
comeback win over Unioto.

Ty Schobelock & Jacob
Calvin, Unioto (Golf):
The
Unioto teammates led the way
as Unioto finished runner-up in
the D-II District Golf
Tournament to punch a ticket
to the State Tournament.
Schobelock carded a round of
78. Calvin added an 81.

The senior went

for kills in Thursday’s win
against Westfall. Morris had
24 kills in the match including
several key kills in the fifth set.

Cami Chandler, Piketon
(Volleyball):
It was senior
night in Piketon, and
Chandler produced in her
final home match in a big
win.  The senior had 33 kills
to lead Piketon past WF in
five for the second time this
season.

Kristin Phillips, Westfall
(Volleyball):
Despite losing
in five to Piketon, the
freshman continued her
incredible second half to her
first varsity season. Phillips
had 24 kills to lead her
Mustangs to the near upset.

Darby Beavers, Westfall
(Volleyball):
The inbox
continued to promote the
Piketon/WF players following
Thursday’s action. The WF
senior dished out 50 assists
in the five-set thriller at
Piketon.
