SEVENTH FALL VOTE OF 2018
Calvin carded an impressive
round of 74 to win the
individual district title. Calvin’s
round also led the way for
Unioto to take the team title
and qualify for the OHSAA State
Golf Tournament.
Goebel dished out 33 assists in a
straight set win over Adena last
week to help her Lady Panthers
inch closer to their first SVC title
since 1989. In the process,
Goebel went over 2,600 career
assists to become the all-time
leader in the history of the SVC.
Dalton Metzger, Adena
(Football):
Metzger ran for three
touchdowns and also added a TD
reception to help Adena to a 48-
28 win over Huntington.

Tucker Markko, Unioto (Cross
Country):
Markko won the Gold
Flight of the Unioto Invite with a
time of 16:25.31.

Brayden Ison, Paint Valley
(Football):
Ison needed just 15
touches to gain 97 yards. He also
scored two touchdowns as PV
beat Zane Trace 28-3.


Zach Shipley, Westfall (Cross
Country):
Shipley won the Down
on the Farm with a time of 17:31.

Kannon Pack, Piketon
(Football):
The Piketon QB threw
for 215 yards and two scores. He
also rushed 19 times for 142
yards and another score.

On the same night,
Unger joined her teammate with a
milestone. Unger recorded her
1,000th career dig. She had 23
kills and 23 digs in the match.

Braiden Collins, Huntington
(Volleyball):
The milestone theme
continued in the ZT/Huntington
match as Collins recorded 23 digs
in the match to go over 1,000 for
her career.


Abbey Mohan, Zane Trace
(Cross Country):
Mohan crossed
first at the Down on the Farm. The
senior’s winning time was 20:
30.00.

Sylvia Gray, Unioto (Tennis):
The junior completed her third
straight regular season. She then
followed that up with a third
straight sectional title.
