Bryce Newland, Paint Valley
(Basketball):
The senior scored
29 in a win over Huntington, and
he scored 19 points to help PV
past Lynchburg Clay. Newland’s
18th point in the LC win was
career point 1,000.

Chris Chandler, Piketon
(Basketball):
The junior enjoyed
a nice Waverly Holiday
Tournament. In the two games,
Chandler posted 28 points, 14
rebounds, and 12 steals including
10 steals against Western as
Piketon took third place.
