Little averaged 21
points per game this weekend as
Unioto defeated Huntington and
Piketon to start 2-0 in the SVC
play.

Logan Bennett, Adena
(Basketball):
In Friday’s win over
Southeastern, Bennett scored 17
points to go over the 1,000-point
mark for his career.

points including the game-winning
basketball in the final seconds of
last week’s win over Unioto.

Saturday night in a win over
WF, Sykes made all eight of
his field goal attempts and all
four of his free throw
attempts to post a game-high
21 points. Sykes is currently
leading his team in scoring
as the Warriors are off to a
4-1 start overall and 2-0 in
league play.

Honorable Mention
In the early part of her junior
season, Basye scored her
1,000th career point. This
milestone came in an 82-69
win over West Union as
Basye scored 43 points -
breaking her own
single-game scoring record.
On the night, she was 19-of-21
from the free throw line.
