Ashton Nunemaker, Westfall
(Basketball):
In a loss to Vinton
County, the Westfall guard scored
a career-high 27 points.

Dax Estep, Paint Valley
(Basketball):
The sophomore
scored 25 points on 9-11 shooting
including a 3-3 performance from
the three-point line.

Emma Garrison, Adena

McClain.

Olivia Smith, Paint Valley
(Basketball):

Gabby Patete, Westfall
(Basketball):
In somewhat of a
quiet girls’ schedule over the final
week of 2020, Westfall continued to
play, and the Lady Mustangs
continued to win. Patete, who is the
league’s third leading scorer, has
continued to consistently post
double-figure scoring
performances to lead the way.

Jayden Smith
(Adena), Hanna Uhrig (Paint
Valley), Jazzlyn Lamerson
(Piketon), Cidney Huff
(Southeastern), Ameris Betts
(Unioto), Mahaley Farmer &
Marissa Mullins (Westfall), Lauren
Lane (Zane Trace)
We have a repeat winner this
week as Chandler had a
quarter for the Piketon
record books. It came in the
opening quarter of a win
against Trimble when
Chandler scored 20 points
including five triples. For the
game, Chandler’s three-
point total would reach
seven as he scored 32
points. One night earlier in a
win over Western, Chandler
hit four threes on his way to
21 points. Piketon is now 6-3
on the season.
Honorable Mention
Honorable Mention
The Southeastern senior is
putting together an
outstanding season. Despite
coming in a losing effort to an
elite Peebles team, Graves
scored 30 points. She made
four triples and was 9-for-9
from the charity stripe. Graves
entered the break avering
close to 22 points, and that
average has continued to
climb.
