It was not a close vote
on the boys’ side this
week. People from
several schools seemed
to agree on this vote. In
a championship run, it
will always take different
people stepping up in
key situations. This was
the case for Adena this
past weekend in a win at
Zane Trace. Shipley
scored 21 points. He
scored this career-high
on 7-of-10 shooting
including five three-
pointers.
Honorable Mention
Honorable Mention
Basye has been scoring
at an elite level. In her
most recent game, she
scored 28 points to put
her (in just her junior
season) in the Top-20 all-
time in SVC history. In
her previous game, she
continued to break her
own school-record for a
single game as she
scored 46 points. She
also hit seven threes.
