Smith also scored 20 points and recorded 17 rebounds in a win at New Boston. Macie Graves, Southeastern (Basketball): The senior scored 16 points in a win over Huntington. On the night, Graves joined the 1,000 career point club. It was not a close vote on the boys’ side this week. People from several schools seemed to agree on this vote. In a championship run, it will always take different people stepping up in key situations. This was the case for Adena this past weekend in a win at Zane Trace. Shipley scored 21 points. He scored this career-high on 7-of-10 shooting including five three- pointers. |

Basye has been scoring at an elite level. In her most recent game, she scored 28 points to put her (in just her junior season) in the Top-20 all- time in SVC history. In her previous game, she continued to break her own school-record for a single game as she scored 46 points. She also hit seven threes. |
